Committee Meetings

The following is a list of Council Committees and their function.  Each Committee meets several times during the year. Attendance is either in-person or via teleconference for the convenience of the Committee members.   • PRIVATE PAY COMMITTEE
    The Private Pay Committee was established to address issues and concerns raised by members of the Council that offer private pay services. 


  • STANDARDS COMMITTEE
    The Standards Committee provides leadership in developing and promoting standards for home care aide services.


  • LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
    The Legislative Committee operates under the guidance of the Council's Governmental Strategies consultant and advocates for community based services and keeps members informed about the progress of budgetary issues and legislation. 


  • PROGRAM COMMITTEE
    The Program Committee is responsible for planning and implementing programs and workshops the Council offers to its members each year.


  • TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
    The Technology Committee explores ways to expand the use of technology through the Council including: website enhancement, online marketing, online training opportunities, webinars, conference calls, and social media. 


  • MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
    The Membership Committee reviews all applications for membership and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for elections of those applicants who meet the standards of practice established by the Council.  The Committee also connects with Council members to ensure that our association is working to meet their needs and assists the Executive Director in implementing ways to increase Council membership.


  • NOMINATING COMMITTEE
    The Nominating Committee selects the slate of officer, Board, and Nominating Committee candidates selected for the Council each year.


  • FINANCE COMMITTEE
    The Finance Committee develops the Council’s budget for the current calendar year and addresses financial matters of concern to Council members.
